NYPD, state lawmakers team up to take down ghost guns

MANHATTAN (PIX11) — Manhattan prosecutors, the NYPD and state lawmakers are teaming up to crack down on ghost guns.

Ghost guns are unregistered and untraceable weapons created using 3D printers. Investigators said they could be just as dangerous as traditional guns. So there’s a new push to make it illegal to manufacture ghost guns in New York State.
