NEW YORK (PIX11) – City leaders are warning seniors living in Staten Island and Brooklyn about a new scam.
A nationwide Medicare scam is targeting senior citizens, sending unsolicited COVID-19 tests in the mail and charging them.
The tests have been sent over the past several months and charges are appearing on monthly Medicare statements.
Anyone affected by the scam should call the Medicare fraud line and ask for a new Medicare card.
