NEW YORK (PIX11) – There is currently only one legal marijuana dispensary open in New York City. However, there are hundreds of illegal smoke shops selling marijuana, which has prompted the New York City Council to call for some oversight.
On Wednesday, New York City Council members heard from the public about what the issues are surrounding illegal smoke shops and what they would like to see done.
