MOONACHIE, N.J. — A mysterious hit-and-run in New Jersey has left one family desperate for answers.

Anna Semioli, 22,  of Moonachie, was hit by a vehicle on Route 46 after midnight on Friday morning.

She is believed to have been on foot near Valley Road in Clifton when she was struck, and the driver took off.

She remains in a coma and in critical condition at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson. Her family and a business in Totowa are offering $10,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.

“She’s fighting for her life. We need whoever did this to her who knows anything please come forward,” wept the victim’s sister, Gina Semioli.

The authorities have not released a vehicle description but the family is urging the public to be on the lookout for an SUV with right front end damage.

Anna Semioli’s family is also trying to figure out who she was with on Thursday night and where she was headed.

“Please help us,” pleaded Gina Semiloli, “Someone had to see something.”
