JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Firefighters rescued a 15-year-old boy who fell down a well in Jersey City Tuesday evening.

The teen fell into a well at the reservoir near the intersection of Summit and Jefferson avenues around 7:45 p.m.

By 8:40 p.m., the victim had been rescued and was being treated at the scene.

Friends of the teen tell PIX11 that they had been playing a game when he fell down the well.

He is reported to be in stable condition and not seriously injured.
