NJ sees uptick in COVID cases; school forfeits key football game due to outbreak

NEW JERSEY — After months of seeing new COVID-19 cases dwindle, the numbers in New Jersey are once again going in the wrong direction.

State health officials reported 1,147 new cases on Monday. The state’s seven-day average of new cases jumped to 1,386 — up 30% from just one week ago.
