JEFFERSON, NJ — Guests were briefly stuck on rides at Six Flags Great Adventure on Monday afternoon during a short power outage, a park spokesperson said.

The power went out at 12:30 p.m. and, though it was restored just two minutes later, guests were escorted from the affected rides, the spokesperson said. Most guests were helped off of rides by 12:47 p.m. and the final ride was cleared at 12:55 p.m.

No one was injured.

The outage originated from JCP&L’s Cookstown, NJ station, a Six Flags spokesperson said.

All rides reopened.

Six Flags Great Adventure reopened to customers on July 3.
