JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Firefighters extinguished a fire in Jersey City early this morning.

The flames spread through a couple of homes on Dekalb Avenue around 3 a.m.

The fire department was able to put out the fire shortly thereafter.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.

An investigation into what caused the fire is ongoing.
