WEEHAWKEN, N.J. — It was a July 4 unlike any other across the tri-state area.

In Weehawken, just across the river from Manhattan, people were finding a way to be with their families and socially distant from one another while getting perhaps the best view of the fireworks.

PIX11 News spoke to them about getting out of the house to celebrate America’s birthday under the strangest of circumstances.
