MANHATTAN — A 23-year-old woman has lost two teeth after being sucker punched by a homeless man while leaving the subway in Manhattan Wednesday, police said.

The incident took place at around 6:45 a.m. She claims she was walking eastbound on Houston Street the homeless man attacked her, left her bleeding and then fled. The victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital.

The victim ran into a local pilates studio for help. People at the studio called 911.

Police are still searching for the attacker. They believe this was a random attack.
