CHELSEA, Manhattan — Law enforcement officials are analyzing a damaged vehicle to learn more about the explosive device that detonated in Chelsea Saturday night injuring 29 people.

An Uber driver picked up three passengers at the Garden of Eden Marketplace at 162 W. 23rd St., just moments before the explosion several feet away in front of 135 W. 23rd St.

It was not immediately clear what happened to the passengers.

The car was caught in the explosion and heavily damaged.

The driver called police regarding the vehicle’s damage. He was advised to bring the car to 39th and Madison where it is being investigated.

The driver is being interviewed by the NYPD. The FBI is also on the scene.
