FINANCIAL DISTRICT, Manhattan — A 21-year-old man was stabbed by a security guard after a dispute turned violent at a downtown McDonald’s early Monday, police said.

The incident happened began inside the fast food joint on 160 Broadway about 4 a.m. Monday.

Police say Saul Puente, 55, of the Bronx allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest and slashed him in the face before fleeing.

The victim followed Puente for a block and a half until he called the police, according to the NYPD.

He was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Puente was arrested and charged with assault.
