NEW YORK — A victim was stabbed multiple times in the back on board a party boat Pier 36.

Police were called to the pier, located at 299 South St., early Sunday morning.

Officials said the incident began with a dispute. Police took two people into custody.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
