NEW YORK (PIX11) — Straphangers dropped their pants despite frigid temperatures for the 2015 No Pants Subway Ride.

Participants met at seven locations around the five boroughs before the festivities began.

At 3 p.m., they got on the subway and casually took their pants off, catching other commuters off guard.

The event, started by Improv Everywhere in 2002 has gained international popularity.
