MANHATTAN (PIX11) — Four people suffered minor injuries after a Short Line driver lost control of his bus and struck a wall inside Port Authority Bus Terminal Tuesday evening.
A spokesperson for the Port Authority told PIX11 that at about 5:30, the bus crashed into a wall inside the upper level of the terminal on the Eighth Avenue side.
Four passengers were injured but refused medical attention.
The FDNY says the driver suffered a medical condition while operating the bus, causing him to lose control.
He has been transported to an area hospital.
Departures and arrivals at the terminal are facing delays due to the accident.
