Fire burns ambulance, multiple cars on Upper West Side

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan — Multiple cars, including an ambulance caught on fire on the Upper West Side early Wednesday.

Authorities received a call shortly after midnight.

The blaze broke out along W. 73rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

Multiple cars, including one ambulatory vehicle, were destroyed by the fire, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported.

Crews are on scene investigating the cause of the blaze.
