Songs and support are being sent from East Harlem to Puerto Rico.

He says the money will go to grassroots agencies on the ground. It will help construction and sustainability projects as well as provide food and supplies.
Debbie Quinones says they learned lessons from Hurricane Maria and wanted to directly connect with agencies on the ground in Puerto Rico.
Organizers say online donations are being accepted by Coordinadora Paz Para La Mujer Inc. Cash donations will go to the earthquake relief efforts of Brigada Solidaria del Oeste. Online donations are also being accepted.
Teddy’s owner is Alfred Cave. He is from Spanish Harlem and has family in Puerto Rico. They donated half of the tabs from food and drinks to the cause.
