UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan — Two pedestrians were injured Thursday morning when a car jumped the curb on the Upper West Side.

Police say the incident happened around 11:30 a.m., on W. 96th Street near Columbus Avenue.

The car struck a 63-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man.

Both victims were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital. The woman is listed as being in critical condition and the man is stable.

Police say the driver stayed on the scene of the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
