Car jumps curb in Midtown East, pedestrian seriously injured

MIDTOWN EAST, Manhattan — A car jumped the curb at 49th St and 2nd Avenue, seriously injuring one person, responding EMS reports.

A car struck a pedestrian standing on the curb. The victim is in serious condition and has been taken to Bellevue Hospital, along with the driver. The driver remains unidentified, and their condition remains unknown.
