UNIONDALE, NY — A 44-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were both found with stab wounds in a Uniondale home early Sunday morning, officials said.
Officers responded to Hempstead Boulevard around 3:20 a.m., police said. They went in through a side door and found the injured man. Officers later found the stabbed woman.
Officials determined a man had come into the home and demanded money, police said. Both victims were repeatedly stabbed with a knife and the suspect left the home.
The injured man and woman were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police have not released a description or image of the suspect.
