NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. (PIX11) — The Girl Scouts of Nassau County are sending a sweet thank you to U.S. heroes locally and abroad. They’re shipping 80,000 of their famous cookies.
DHL Express will ship the packages to both troops overseas and local heroes, like doctors, nurses, and police officers.
Organizers said it’s a sweet token of gratitude to those who are always willing to help others.
