Long Island elementary school gives back with Thanksgiving food drive

BALDWIN, L.I. — One school on Long Island learned a valuable lesson about giving thanks and giving back to its community this Thanksgiving.

The Brookside Elementary School in Baldwin once again held a food drive this year, donating over 200 canned goods to the Island Harvest Food Bank.

The students then celebrated like only kids can with a “turkey trot” and celebratory dance.
