Coffee lovers and caffeine devotees, rejoice! National Coffee Day is here and stores throughout the city have deals in honor of the occasion.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Anyone in need of a cup can head into a participating Dunkin’ Donuts location and buy a medium cup of hot coffee for 66 cents.

Krispy Kreme: Want a doughnut with your coffee? This deal may be the one for you. Participating Krispy Kreme locations are giving away free small coffees and glazed doughnuts today.

Starbucks: The chain isn’t offering a discount, but it is donating a coffee tree to farmers for every cup of brewed Mexico Chiapas sold.


Birch: Birch, which has eight locations across the city, is offering free drip coffee from 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. – so grab a cup before the deal ends.

McDonald’s: There is no nationwide deal, but 100 percent of all coffee sales in in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey will go to Covenant House, a charity that helps homeless youth.

Cumberland Farms: Get a free Farmhouse Blend or Bold cup – in any size by texting FREECOFFEE to 64827 and showing the cashier a coupon you’ll receive on your phone.
