NEW YORK (PIX11) – A coastal storm that’s drenching the tri-state area with heavy rain is causing major traffic on the Belt Parkway Friday morning.
The delays are seen in both lanes near Exit 6 at Cropsey Avenue.
Traffic cameras show cars with water up to the tops of their tires.
Commuters are urged to take precautions due to the downpours that will last until Saturday.
