NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Ahead of the National Dominican Day Parade, the organization behind the celebration rewarded local students with scholarships.
The scholarship winners were honored at a banquet in New Rochelle Friday. The recipients say the support and encouragement is extra meaningful coming from their community.
