Suspect who shot 24-year-old man in Crown Heights still on the loose

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) — The NYPD is searching for a suspect who shot a 24-year-old man in Brooklyn.

Markens Antoine, 30, was engaged in a dispute with the victim on Montgomery Street in Crown Heights at about 10:33 a.m. when he shot him once in the abdomen and fled the location. He is described as 5-foot-10 and weighing about 160 pounds.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
