BROOKLYN (PIX11) — The remains of a Brooklyn woman who died suddenly are being tested for Ebola, the New York City Department of Health said Tuesday.

The woman, who had recently traveled to West Africa, died of an apparent heart attack but will be tested for the illness out of an abundance of caution.

Health officials said there is a very low likelihood that the woman had Ebola, as  she did not show symptoms of the disease ravaging parts of West Africa.

She was one of about 350 people in New York City being actively monitored for the illness because of their recent travel history.

The results will be in early Wednesday.
