BED-STUY, Brooklyn (PIX11) —Officers and community members mourned side-by-side the deaths of the two fallen officers Monday night.

It a true moment of unity in a time where the NYPD and Mayor’s Office are at odds over blame of the shootings.

Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, were gunned down as they sat in their patrol vehicle in Bedford-Stuyvesant Saturday afternoon.

The gunman, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, was later found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
