BROOKLYN – Multiple workers are injured after a partial collapse at a construction site in Brooklyn.

A 911 call came Thursday morning after a four-story building under construction at Lefferts Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant partially collapsed on the second floor.

NYPD, FDNY, and the Department of Buildings were on scene.

Large concrete blocks fell through the main floor onto two men working in the basement. According to a coworker, one of the men was up too his waist in concrete blocks.

The two workers were taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries, one with injuries to the forehead, and the other with injuries to the ankle and lower leg.

The worksite is expected to shut down for months, according to workers.
