Man killed, teen injured in Brooklyn double shooting, police say

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn — A man was killed and a teenager was injured in a double shooting in East New York, Brooklyn on Friday, police said.

Shots were fired outside 640 Stanley Ave, around the corner from Linden Park, around 4:10 p.m., according to police.

A 27-year-old man was hit multiple times in the face, torso and leg, and a 17-year-old boy was shot once in the right leg, police said.

Both victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where the 27-year-old was pronounced dead, according to police.

The 17-year-old was listed in stable condition, police said.

There are no arrests in the case.
