BRIGHTON BEACH, Brooklyn – Police are looking for a man who assaulted another man inside a bar in Brooklyn, police said.

The culprit punched a 29-year-old in the face and hit him on the head with an unknown object at the Velvet Rope on Coney Island Avenue, at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 17, NYPD said.

The victim suffered cuts to his head and was taken to a hospital.

Surveillance video provided by police shows the attacker during the violent exchange.

The attacker is described as being about 50 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a light-colored long sleeved shirt.
