BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn — Surveillance video was released Monday of a man being sought in connection with the death of a woman whose traumatized body was found in Owl’s Head Park last week.

Jennifer Cohen, 35, has been identified as the woman police found dead at Colonial Road and Wakeman Place, inside Owl’s Head Park, sometime between 9:10 and 10 a.m. last Thursday, according to the NYPD.

Police initially responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female at the location.

The Bay Ridge resident suffered head and facial trauma, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Cohen’s death has been ruled a homicide, police said Friday.

Investigators are now seeking a man captured on surveillance video walking with the victim Thursday around 2:45 a.m.

He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 175 pounds, and was last seen with a black backpack, wearing a black jacket with white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark-colored sneakers and a dark-colored baseball cap.
