GRAVESEND, Brooklyn — A man died in a fire at a Brooklyn NYCHA apartment building Saturday, officials said.

The male victim, 63, in the fatal fire at 2304 West 8th St. in Gravesend lived in the building, witnesses said.

Officials from the FDNY said two firefighters and one first responder with EMS were injured.

The fire on the fifth floor of the Marlboro Houses happened around 1:48 p.m. Once firefighters extinguished the blaze, they discovered the unresponsive man.

All of them were taken to a local hospital.
