BUSHWICK, Brooklyn — A 21-year-old man was killed by a shot to the back at a Brooklyn park on Thursday night and two others were injured in the shooting, officials said.
The three people were shot around 6:30 p.m. at Bushwick Playground. A 20-year-old man was shot in the back and left elbow, and another 20-year-old man was shot in left forearm, police said. Officials initially provided a different age and injury description for each of the victims.
The shooting happened inside the basketball courts in the park. There’s a field in the park where a soccer team was playing during the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
Police have not yet released any identifying information about the victims.
