PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Brooklyn– Two teenage boys were shot near the Brooklyn Museum in Mount Prospect Park Sunday evening, according to authorities.
It happened in the vicinity of Eastern Parkway and Washington Avenue before 9:15 p.m. Sunday, police said.
NYPD says the victims are 14 and 15 years old. The 14-year-old was shot five times — twice in the legs, twice in the stomach and once in the hand, police said. The older victim was struck once in the stomach, they said.
Both boys were taken to a hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
Police said there is no one under arrest and they have not identified a possible shooter.
The Brooklyn Museum was closed at the time of the shooting.
