WEST FARMS, The Bronx — A man was slashed in the cheek early Saturday morning in a stairwell of the West Farms Square – East Tremont Avenue station.

At 3:56 a.m. Saturday, the 32-year-old victim got into an argument with two men. One of them slashed the victim in the right cheek with an unknown object, according to the NYPD.

Both men, described by the NYPD as black and in their 30s, fled the scene. Neither of the suspects have been caught.

EMS took the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he received 15 stitches before being released.

NYPD stress that this is not a random attack.
