Man accused of stabbing boyfriend to death amid dispute in the Bronx: police

MORRIS HEIGHTS, the Bronx — A man was taken into police custody late Wednesday night after his boyfriend was found fatally stabbed in a Bronx apartment, police said.

According to the NYPD, a 911 call came in around 10:40 p.m. for a man stabbed in an apartment in the River Park Towers complex in the Morris Heights section.

Upon arrival, cops found the 38-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds. EMS responded and rushed the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.

The NYPD said the victim’s 28-year-old boyfriend was taken into custody at the scene.

Police believe the incident started as a heated dispute between the couple over infidelity claims before escalating to a deadly stabbing.

There was no immediate information about charges.

The NYPD said the investigation remains ongoing and the identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
