THE BRONX (PIX11) — At least one person is dead after a possible wrong-way driver collided with a dump truck Tuesday in the Bronx.

It happened near Jerome Avenue and 233rd Street.

Initial information from the scene suggests the driver of a sedan with handicapped license plates was traveling against train when he collided with a dump truck leased by the New York City Department of Transportation.

The driver of the sedan, identified only as a 63-year-old man, was killed in the crash. The dump truck driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
