NEW YORK — The coronavirus pandemic may have forced some parents to cancel their children’s planned summer activities.

But the American Museum of Natural History launches their first ever virtual science summer camp for children grades 2 through 9 as a perfect alternative.

The online STEM program combines their love for science and lots of fun. From touring the earth and outer space, to tracking hurricanes and coding climate change, it has a wide range of activities for kids to enjoy.

Prices begin at 375 dollars, and it’s not too late to sign up. In addition to the paid camps, the museum is currently hosting a series of free online weekly events including Mars Fest at Home on July 29. The series of live virtual events celebrates the launch of NASA’s Mars 2020 mission.
