ASTORIA, Queens — Aces New York doesn’t open until after 11 p.m. each night but it’s closing time at 4 a.m. that’s the real problem for the neighbors.
They say customers are puking and urinating on the sidewalks.
And rowdy customers have fights that spill out into the streets.
A patron was shot in the foot this past Saturday morning the wee hours.
“The bullets are flying,” Joseph Doughtery, a neighbor who lives around the corner of 32nd Street, told PIX11. “They are puking and urinating at all hours.”
“I hear cars racing, music blasting,” Brandon Goode, another neighbor, told PIX11. “It has affected my sleep,” he added.
Some neighbors say this new club, which has attracted celebrities like Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, is a return to the bad old days in the 90s when it used to be a club called System.
At a meeting last night, residents were told the community board is trying to get the State Liquor Authority to suspend Aces liquor license, but so far no success.
No one at the club would talk to PIX11.
Aces Instagram account advertises a big weekend ahead and neighbors are worried.
“This isn’t the Meatpacking district,” Goode added. “This is a residential neighborhood.”
