The sole Gray’s is now on the Upper West Side. The midtown location closed in 2011.

An employee at the Upper West Side restaurant told PIX11 the Eight Street and Sixth Avenue spot is “closed for now” and they have not received word from the owner, Paul Gray, on what will be done with it.

Calls to Gray were not immediately returned.

Gray’s came to the city in 1973.
