Firefighters in New Jersey are still battling a five-alarm fire that began in an apartment building Friday morning.

The blaze is ravaging an apartment building at 162 Gregory Ave. in Passaic, and there are reports of the roof caving in.

Passaic High School — which is located directly in front of the building — has been evacuated and students have been relocated to neighboring schools.

Officials say firefighters are in urgent need of a break and water, as temperatures in the area continue to rise into the 90’s.

Ten firefighters have been taken to St. Mary’s Hospital, mostly for smoke inhalation.
