(PIX11) – Singer and television performer Eydie Gorme passed away Saturday in Las Vegas after a short undisclosed illness.

Eydie was known for performing in New York nightclubs and TV performances in the late 50’s to the late 70’s.

Eydie performed on television shows such as “Whats my Line?”, The Ed Sullivan Show, Password All Stars and The Bob Hope Show.

She also holds numerous awards for her work.

She survived singer Steve Lawrence and their son David.
