RALEIGH, N.C. (PIX11) — A North Carolina teenager known for her “cute mugshot” is in trouble with the law again.

According to WTVD, 18-year-old Alysa Bathrick was charged last week for shoplifting back in January.

Bathrick’s mugshot went viral in December after she was arrested on charges of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute. She then posted her mugshot to Twitter, saying her mugshot was “cute.” When asked by a fellow Twitter user why she was arrested, she responded “xanax homie.”

The teen’s mugshot isn’t the first person to skyrocket to fame because of an attractive mugshot.Last year, Stockton police set the internet on fire by posting Jeremy Meeks’ mugshot after he was arrested for weapons charges. Dubbed the “sexy felon,” Meeks inspired the social media trend #FelonCrushFriday where people posted attractive mugshots.
