MINNESOTA (PIX11) — A brave customer stood up to a knife-wielding robber at a CVS, kicking him in the face, ultimately leading to his capture.

Cops say on Monday, Simon Hanson, 28, had just tried to rob a gas station in Saint Paul at knife-point, but was thwarted when the clerk pulled a silent alarm.

Hanson then tried his luck at a CVS pharmacy nearby, again pulling out a butcher knife.

But, a customer stopped him dead in his tracks, kicking him in the face, causing him to drop his cellphone.

Hanson escaped from the store with $112, but was caught when he CALLED the drop phone — which was in police custody.

There were already warrants out for Hanson’s arrest for felony check forgery and counterfeiting.
