ROCKLAND, N.Y. — The Mid-Hudson region officially entered into Phase 2 of reopening, which includes the opening of offices, real estate, hair salons and barbershops and even outdoor dining.
Rockland County Executive Ed Day told PIX11 Morning News what residents can expect to see as the county moves forward in opening.
Phase 1 “did well” and Rockland County has seen businesses reopening, which is helping the community, Day said.
Hospitalizations have also drastically decreased as the days go on.
To ensure guidelines are in place and residents are safe, Day said all municipalities have inspectors of some sort visiting different businesses to monitor and make sure practices are implemented.
