College students create program connecting young people with senior citizens in COVID-19 isolation

Two college students from Wesleyan University in Connecticut wanted to do something to help senior citizens who might be feeling lonely as they isolate during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

Friends and classmates Walker Brandt and Lars Delin founded the program “Support A Pal” to connect younger people with seniors.

The aim of the initiative is to make sure people of all ages don’t feel socially isolated while most people are physically distanced in quarantine.
