Gov. Phil Murphy released the latest indicators for COVID-19 in New Jersey.

Daily health indicators

  • New cases: 4,699 (Statewide total: 804,037)
  • Hospitalizations: 2,292
    • ICU: 437
    • Ventilators: 237
  • New deaths: 30 (Death toll: 22,023) 
  • The statewide rate of transmission: 1.08
  • Vaccines administered: 4,350,920
    • First dose: 2,717,720
    • Second dose: 1,630,829

Latest official numbers:

As of Thursday, there have been 804,037 confirmed cases in the state since March 2020, and there have been 22,023 lab-confirmed coronavirus deaths, according to the state Health Department.
