COVID-19 reopening: Mental preparation for a post-pandemic life


NEW YORK — With a new mask mandate and capacity restrictions lifted, New York is on the fast track to reopen following more than a year of COVID-19 lockdowns.

However, getting back to a “normal” is proving to be anything, but normal.

Not only is there a lot of COVID-19 confusion with all of the recent changes, but there’s also anxiety over adapting to the new normal.

Psychiatrist Dr. Sue Varma spoke with PIX11 News to share how people can cope with those feelings.
