NEW YORK — For the first time in the MTA’s history, the transit system shut down service overnightto conduct subway car and station disinfecting and cleaning.

Commuter advocates with the Straphangers Campaign are monitoring the service changes and disruptions to train and bus services in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
